Worship
 “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.”
Getting to the point, we’ll tell you we work to have a blended worship service. We also know that the word blended is a relative term! Regardless of particulars in definition, at Horizon you will hear hymns as well as praise and worship songs of a more contemporary feel. You’ll hear different instruments and voices at different times; other times you’ll hear them all together. The main point is that we want worship for ourselves and others to be sincere; intimate and honest… most importantly, glorifying to God. When that is in place, the rest follows.
Worship on Sunday morning is everything we do… from our greetings and love for one another, to the care for children in the nursery, to teachers in Sunday School, to relationships we develop, to the sermon, to music, to offering… everything. We believe strongly that worship is about so much more than music, and so much more than an hour on Sunday morning. It is about living with God in times and places that sometimes are, but more often not, conducive to growing in grace. It is about allowing our relationships with God to become so natural as to be the air we breathe. It is our hope that what you find on Sunday morning is a place where you find it easy to connect with your Savior and His people.
